Regular Monthly/Weekly Activities
- Book discussions are generally held the last Saturday of each month, at 10am.
- Story Time weekly, every Saturday morning at 10am.
- Yoga Lessons weekly, every Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm. Participants must pre-register in library, due to space limitations.
June Activities
- All month: Summer Reading Program
- Every Saturday 10am - 1pm: Learn to Crochet for Teens and Adults
- Last Saturday of the month, 10am: Book Discussion (Area 51 by Annie Jacobson)
July Activities
- All month: Summer Reading Program continues
- All month: Short Story Contest for adults, teen, and children. (Prizes provided by the Friends of Columbus Library.) See librarian for more details.
- 18 years and older: 1st prize $50, 2nd prize $30, 3rd prize $20
- 12 years to 17 years: 1st prize $25, 2nd prize $15, 3rd prize $10
- Under 12 years: 1st prize $25, 2nd prize $15, 3rd prize $10
- Last Saturday of the month, 10am: Book Discussion (The Drunkard's Walk: How Randomness Rules our Lives by Leonard Mlodinow
August Activities
- August 6: Short Story Contest winners announced.
- August 20: End of Summer Reading Program
- Last Saturday of the month, 10am: Book Discussion (The Rogue Republic: How Would-Be Patriots Waged the Shortest Revolution in American History by William C. Davis)
September Activities
- September 3: 1pm-3pm "Me and My Friends" art exhibit and Fiber Arts display.
- Last Saturday of the month, 10am: Book Discussion (Book to be announced.)
November Activities
- November 19: 10am Book Talk by Columbus author Bill Wehner
